Happy 2025. I am in the same position as many of you. I am looking at the results of the changes in the United States. The Trump administration has begun their turn and we are beginning to hear the stirring of change in our economy, legislation and social dynamics that are affecting every household by the vary nature of the conversation. We have seen this before. Every โ€œnewโ€ administration comes in with the goal of addressing their campaign promises to โ€œmake goodโ€ on what they said that they were going to do, when or if they won the presidency.

I think that there are a few differences with this presidency that cause people to be concerned about their future. First, Project 2025 looks to be a looks to be a legislative plan to reduce the power and the size of the federal government. President Trump looks to be moving forward with the changes in this project. He has not claimed ownership of this plan - so this is my opinion. Regardless of where is came from, the initiatives in this project continue to be similar to the objectives of the new administration. Second, there is an emphasis on the media. Media, polarization and misinformation are the tools that are being used to influence our perception. The greatest danger is the speculation on their intentions for the American people.

Many people are frightened with all the changes and how it will affect their lives. Many people are proud of the changes and the current mode of the administration - which leads them to believe that American will be โ€œgreat againโ€ as promised in the presidential campaign.

The view that we need to concentrate on is that all of these changes are not a part of the Bigger Picture. I have a good perspective of my bigger picture as a person of faith. My faith isnโ€™t in the people, it is in God - the one that created me. I am a disciple of Jesus so the filter that I look at all of the changes is one of hope and faith - regardless if I agree with all of them. The bigger picture is the reality of what we are dealing with and the tangible things that we can control.

1. We need to find and focus on our purpose and get busy taking care of our evolution that will continue to develop regardless of the administration.

  1. Manage anxiety and mindfulness of what we can control

  2. Build your resilience - self-care and moderation

  3. Participate in Community - Gather with those with common ideals

  4. Set Boundaries with media and check your vantage point

Stay focused! We are better together!

Stay Resilient ๐Ÿ’•
